Competition Divisions & Rules

**Sign up now and score your team T-shirt. We can even customize them with your team name to make your crew stand out on the sand! Team shirt orders must be placed ahead of time, so be sure to register early to be included!**

TEAM DIVISION

Teams of 3–6 participants of any age.

• 1st Place — $200

• 2nd Place — $100

• 3rd Place — $60

DOUBLES DIVISION

Teams of 2 participants ages 12+.

• 1st Place — $100

• 2nd Place — $60

• 3rd Place — $30

Each team will receive a 20’ x 20’ plot and must work within the confined competition space.

MASTERS DIVISION

Our fan-favorite showcase division featuring advanced sculptors and returning competitors. If you have competed or placed in large group, doubles, or master competitions before, we encourage you to apply.

KIDS & FAMILY DIVISIONS

These divisions are all about fun, creativity, and making beach memories together! Participants will compete for fun prizes from local businesses including Funland, local restaurants, and other great take-home goodies.

COMPETITION RULES

• Forms and tools may be used during the construction process but may not support the final structure in any way.

• Only natural sand may be used in sculptures.

• Judging will be based on:

- Difficulty

- Teamwork

- Suitability to sand

- Effort

- Creativity

- Overall appearance

This is a fun, family-oriented event, and we ask that all creations be done with respect to this tradition.
